are you ready for some football?

So, I hear there’s a big football game this weekend. I’m not a big football fan, but it will be on at our house. It’ll be more like background noise until the commercials come on, which is when I’ll be more likely to tune in. I did come across some football grub that I wouldn’t mind to munch on come game day though.

These buffalo chicken sliders on The Wicked Noodle look pretty appetizing to me. I love the fact that they can be made ahead of time too. Bonus!

Game day is typically ‘man food’, but at least one healthy item isn’t going to hurt is it? I love this creative idea for serving fresh fruit. Check out directions here.
Of course you know about my love for anything mini……I love the name of this blog, The Girl who ate Everything. She doesn’t mess around. I think we’d be instant friends.

And last but not least these whoopie pies. Beantown Baker¬†calls them ‘The Ultimate Whoopie Pie’. I can see why. They consist of chocolate cake, toasted (yes, toasted!) marshmallow frosting and salted caramel sauce.

What are your favorite foods when watching the big game?
